Enhancing Household Income and Economic Empowerment

Who are we?

was founded in 2000 by a group of friends in the Morogoro region who shared compassionate goals towards supporting people who passed through tides in life. It was purely a volunteering organization established as Civil Based Organization (CBO) and later registered as a non-governmental organization.

Inter-connected reasons made HACOCA founder members think of establishing the Organization. These were linked to continued HIV/ AIDS prevalence, Food insecurity, and Income Poverty. Others included Ignorance and Gender-based violence. HIV/ AIDS and Poverty were observed to affect many communities within Morogoro and the nation as a whole.
